About Me

I believe that there’s always a human solution for a human issue regardless of the context, unless willingness is kept at bay.

The “5 WHYs”
That I Ask

Curiosity Is my close friend

I don’t settle for shallow answers. That’s why I tend to ask a lot of Whys to get to the gist of things before deciding on the What and How. I learn more when asking questions, and I invite collaboration by doing so. For me, asking 5 WHYs is not just simply an exhaustive trek to please my curiosity – It’s also the limit on which I train my cognitive capabilities as well: If I cannot get to the core of issue in 5 WHYs, I’m asking the wrong questions.

My Leadership Style: Radical Candor

Who Both Cares and Is Willing to Make A Difficult Decision

As a leader who’s worked his way up from the smallest roles and managed various teams, I understand the importance of having a collaborative team as well as building a strong culture. In such context, I value individual relationships with each other and believe that their success speaks louder than mine. To do so, I’m not afraid to spend extra resources to empower people while being very transparent about my expectations and feedback for them. I love holding open dialogues individually and in a team context and believe this shall bring about the psychological safety needed to construct a strong collaborative culture built on trust.

During onboarding, I often spend more time individually with each stakeholder including the senior ones to make sure that we have good rapport and set the expectations clearly. As a people-people, I try to understand others from their perspective and connect with them better by climbing down the ladder of inference. Therefore, you’ll often see me mulling carefully over human interactions but moving very fast on data-driven and fact-based discussions.

Between Tea & Beer: Definitely Tea!

I love occasions when people can connect meaningfully and in-depth. I don’t prefer big parties but won’t mind joining one.
I love cooking and have my own personal track of my past dishes.
I’m also a half-marathoner and a choir baritone. We used to perform in municipal contests and even won nationals.
And of course, I love anything art. I could spend hours chatting with someone who shares the same interests, as I believe art has the power to enrich, influence and empower a person’s inner drivers.
